Hello, My name is Chris Doan and welcome to my world of metal art and how it all started. As you can see in my picture on this page, I am holding an airplane. As it is known to many aircraft enthusiasts, such as myself, it is called a corsair. What a mighty aircraft it was and still is today. But its glory days were in World War II. It took out many enemy targets and brought many of our men home to their families. As you can tell this piece is very special to me and I hope too many of you as well. My new addition to the aircraft series is a P-51 mustang, another warrior aircraft in World War II. I do many other types of metal art as ell, such as southwest, nature scenes, Indian Pieces, and much much more, really too many to name, almost anything that excites me. All my pieces are hand drawn, cut, cleaned, and painted all by my two hands. No computer cut tables used around here! If I can't do it by hand, well it just doesn't need to be done. That’s what separates me from the rest. All our pieces are limited editions and are signed and numbered. Please enjoy my site, and I hope you find something you just can't live without.

Thank you,
Chris

Thank you for visiting our website!

Just to let you know a little bit about us: We live in Kilgore, a small town in East Texas. My wife is a self-taught oil painter, creating life on canvas. What an eye for color! Now about myself: A family friend, Jack Hughes, gave me a job working in his welding shop after school. The seed was planted, hoping one day I would own a business of my own. I had to work years in the oil field after we got married before we were able to start our own business. We started building barbecue pits, trying each time to build each one better than the last. Then we started creating every piece we made, we are very meticulous, each one is hand drawn, cut, cleaned, painted, and numbered, we only make limited editions. Each piece is a labor of love. We put our heart and soul into each and every piece. Sometimes it is quite a long, hard, winding road to try so hard to accomplish the perfection we put upon ourselves, but we want to please, not only we two, but also you the customer. Again let us thank you for looking at our work. We mean to please. Let me finish with this one last thing: Anything can be massed produced with a computer, but our art is produced from start to finish with the thought, drawing it out on the metal, cutting it out, painting it, all by our own hands. Now that is what separates us from all the rest. All hand made. And to Jan and I, that is what we call real art. Look forward to seeing many new art pieces to come. We never stop making new and exciting art projects.
